'Humanities Open House' for graduate students and researchers
In response to requests for a space to co-work and connect, we are making a room in the Schwarzman Centre available for all graduate students in Humanities disciplines to come together to chat, read, write, and drink (free) coffee. The room will be available for you to use as you wish (within reason - please don't do anything illegal, and do refer to the Schwarzman Centre Visitor Guidelines) between 10.30am and 4.30pm. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at 11am and 3pm but you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
You can use the room for as much or as little of the day as you wish and you don't need to sign up in advance (although we'll leave a sign-in sheet in the room - please add your name when you arrive so we can monitor uptake of this new idea). However, to help us order the correct amount of catering, if you plan to stop by for tea/coffee at 11am and 3pm, we'd be grateful if you could book below.
Here are a couple of logistical points:
- Please ensure you bring a charged laptop as there will not be enough plugs for everyone.
-
We must respect room capacity guidelines, so if there are no free chairs, the room is full. Please come back later.
Two other dates are available:
- 16th February, 9.30am - 12.30pm. Book here.
- 23rd February, 9.30am - 3pm. Book here.
