Introduction to Postdoctoral Research Funding

This online workshop is aimed at doctoral students considering further post-doctoral research, usually in their penultimate or final year of study, and those who have recently completed a doctorate. The main speaker will be Jennifer Pagliuca, Research Facilitator (Humanities Division).
The presentation will cover the following:
- Process & deadlines: an overview of the key steps involved in the process of applying for research funding, and the internal and external deadlines that apply.
- Funding opportunities: information about the types of funding opportunities that are available and how to identify the best fit for you and your research.
- Grant writing: an overview of the standard content to include, and tips regarding style & structure.
- Further information: where to find further information/resources on the subject, and who to contact.
- Questions: time for general Q&A at the end.
